This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate and strengthen collaboration with fellow Incident Commanders, Customer Support, Application, and Engineering teams—cross-functional teams dedicated to real-time incident management.
• Provide leadership in the development of Practices, Frameworks, Process Flows, Templates, and Process Guides.
• Continuously refine and enhance the internal framework, methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Develop and maintain essential practical capabilities.
• Collaborate with SRE Teams and Infrastructure teams to identify requirements and gaps that may lead to downtime or blind spots.
• Propose innovative solutions that empower the organization to achieve its objectives and goals.
• Advocate for opportunities related to Continuous Service Improvements.
• Manage and update Root Cause Analysis documentation.
• Direct SRE communications to stakeholders through E-mail, Slack, and Teams in a timely manner.
• Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing JIRA Release Ticket management, ensuring quality and alignment with Incident management communications that support SLAs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Proven experience in a similar or incident management role.
• Familiarity with Containerization (preferably Docker & Kubernetes).
• Automation: Knowledge of configuration management and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.
• Proficient in at least one programming language.
• Comfortable working within Linux environments and addressing related needs.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, and on-premises environments.
• Ability to work autonomously and learn swiftly with minimal supervision.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to prioritize ad-hoc tasks as they arise.
• A tech-savvy individual who is enthusiastic about learning new technologies and tools.
• Outgoing personality with the ability to engage in conversations to gather necessary information.
• A degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Nice to have: Experience with Postgres, MySQL, Elastic Search, Kafka, Redis, Terragrunt, Prometheus, Python, Talos Linux.
