This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Provide education and support to potential Trupanion customers by offering outstanding service through inbound warm leads, phone calls, and email communication.
• Establish genuine trust and connection with pet owners by employing a consultative approach to identify their specific needs and suggest suitable coverage options.
• Inform prospective customers about the advantages and value of Trupanion coverage to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Skillfully steer conversations using effective call control, active listening, and objection resolution techniques throughout the sales process.
• Navigate customer concerns and sensitive discussions with empathy, authenticity, professionalism, and a solution-focused communication style.
• Assist customers during the enrollment process, ensuring a smooth, positive, and supportive experience.
• Handle high volumes of inbound calls while balancing customer satisfaction, efficiency, productivity, and personal sales targets in a dynamic environment.
• Exhibit a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and flexibility while adapting to changing responsibilities, processes, and workflows.
• Utilize multiple systems and tools to provide a seamless and effective customer experience.
• Manage time efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and productivity in a busy contact center environment.
• Precisely document customer interactions and keep detailed records in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
• Show strong technological proficiency in a remote environment, including the capability to independently troubleshoot common technical issues and adapt to new tools or system updates.
• A minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience in a high-volume business-to-customer sales or inbound call center setting is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role is essential.
• Proven history of achieving or surpassing individual sales targets, productivity goals, and performance metrics in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to quickly establish genuine rapport, overcome objections, and confidently lead customers through the sales process with a consultative and solution-oriented approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear, authentic, and effective education of customers regarding coverage options and benefits.
• Experience managing high-volume inbound customer interactions while maintaining empathy, professionalism, efficiency, productivity, and strong call control.
• Demonstrated ownership, adaptability, and resilience while excelling in a metrics-driven and fast-paced atmosphere.
• Proficient in navigating multiple digital platforms simultaneously while accurately documenting customer interactions and policy details in CRM systems.
• Strong ability to identify customer needs, recommend customized solutions, and establish trust through empathetic and customer-centric communication.
• Self-motivated with excellent time management skills, able to maintain productivity and focus in a remote working environment.
• Strong technical troubleshooting capabilities and comfort using technology independently in a remote setting.
• Experience working remotely in a private space with a reliable hard-wired internet connection and a distraction-free home office setup.
• Property and Casualty (P&C) licensing is advantageous.
