This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Provide education and assistance to potential Trupanion clients by offering outstanding service through inbound warm leads, phone calls, and email communications.
• Establish authentic trust and rapport with pet owners by employing a consultative approach to grasp their specific needs and suggest suitable coverage options.
• Inform prospective customers about the advantages and benefits of Trupanion coverage to facilitate informed choices.
• Efficiently steer conversations by applying strong call management, active listening, and objection resolution techniques throughout the sales journey.
• Navigate customer concerns and sensitive discussions with empathy, authenticity, professionalism, and a solution-focused communication style.
• Assist clients through the enrollment procedure while ensuring a smooth, positive, and supportive customer experience.
• Handle high volumes of inbound calls while balancing customer satisfaction, efficiency, productivity, and personal sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Exhibit a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and flexibility while managing changing responsibilities, processes, and workflows.
• Utilize various systems and tools to provide a seamless and effective customer experience.
• Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on detail and productivity in a high-volume contact center setting.
• Accurately document customer interactions and keep comprehensive records in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
• Showcase strong technological proficiency in a remote environment, including the ability to independently resolve common technical issues and adapt to new tools or system updates.
• A minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience in a high-volume business-to-consumer sales or inbound call center environment is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role is essential.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed individual sales targets, productivity goals, and performance metrics in a fast-paced setting.
• Demonstrated skill in quickly building genuine rapport, overcoming objections, and confidently guiding customers through the sales process using a consultative and solution-oriented method.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, enabling clear, authentic, and effective education of customers regarding coverage options and benefits.
• Experience managing high volumes of inbound customer interactions while balancing empathy, professionalism, efficiency, productivity, and strong call management.
• Proven sense of ownership, adaptability, and resilience while excelling in a metrics-driven and fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in navigating multiple digital platforms simultaneously, accurately documenting customer interactions and policy details in CRM systems.
• Strong capability for identifying customer needs, recommending customized solutions, and building trust through empathetic and customer-centric communication.
• Self-motivated with excellent time management skills, capable of maintaining productivity and concentration in a remote work setting.
• Strong technical troubleshooting abilities and comfort utilizing technology independently in a remote environment.
• Experience working remotely in a private environment with a reliable hard-wired internet connection and a distraction-free home-office setup.
• Property and Casualty (P&C) licensing is a plus.
