This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engages in the sale of products and calibration services to businesses and individuals via telephone.
• Addresses and resolves customer inquiries on various issues, including billing and order processing.
• Achieves activity targets and sales goals.
• Primarily responsible for managing inbound sales calls, emails, and chats related to product and calibration sales.
• Required skills include the ability to cross-sell calibration services, repair offerings, and accessories while assisting customers with service-related issues.
• Handles incoming communications to finalize orders and enhance customer loyalty.
• Develops and nurtures customer relationships through a consultative sales approach.
• Utilizes active listening skills to identify customer needs and opportunities, making informed decisions on subsequent actions.
• Identifies sales opportunities to generate additional business through follow-up calls.
• Asks detailed questions to comprehend customer requirements and proposes suitable products and services.
• Prepares quotes and orders for products and calibration services.
• Exhibits the ability to upsell and increase the average order value.
• Provides technical support for products to customers, collaborating with marketing and/or vendors to ascertain specifications for customer applications.
• Addresses technical and business objections from potential customers and aids the sales process in closing deals.
• Estimates delivery dates for customers, based on knowledge of inventory levels and vendor schedules.
• Investigates and resolves issues related to customer deliveries.
• Adheres to all mandatory call requirements, ensuring data integrity of contact information in both D&W and the CRM system.
• Refers leads to outbound and field sales teams and communicates effectively with all relevant parties to enhance market penetration.
• Accurately inputs new customer data and updates sales records for existing customers into the computer database.
• Conducts contract reviews with customers.
• Delivers exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
• Maintains professional telephone etiquette for both incoming and outgoing calls.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
• At least a high school diploma or a general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
