Inbound Patient Account Services Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of CVS Specialty processes and recognize how customer service influences a patient's journey from order placement to reimbursement for services.

• Assist patients in navigating intricate billing and reimbursement processes to ensure efficient and timely financial transactions for services rendered.

• Establish a trustworthy relationship with patients by engaging in meaningful and pertinent conversations.

• Handle challenging or emotional situations by responding swiftly to patient needs, showcasing empathy and a sense of urgency when necessary.

• Diligently and accurately document each interaction within the appropriate Revenue Cycle system.

• Record, assess, and take subsequent actions to follow up and resolve patient inquiries.

• Collect and analyze patient information to assess eligibility for payment plans.

• Achieve call center metrics encompassing call volume and call quality standards.

• Utilize technology to effectively communicate with other departments across CVS Specialty.

• Exhibit an outgoing, enthusiastic, professional, and compassionate demeanor over the telephone.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in healthcare billing, reimbursement, collections practices, and/or infusion services.

• Proficiency in computer use, including at least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

• Strong written and verbal customer service skills.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Ability to provide emotional support and demonstrate empathy.

• Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate business needs, including but not limited to 8-hour shifts from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm EST (Monday to Friday).
