In-House Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the drafting, assessment, and negotiation of a diverse array of global agreements, such as SaaS contracts, master service agreements, vendor agreements, and licensing deals.

• Serve as the primary liaison for all international external law firms, ensuring compliance with billing standards and service level agreements.

• Administer the legal budget by effectively triaging matters—managing in-house work when feasible and selecting appropriate external experts for specialized assignments.

• Guarantee that UK and international operations comply with Nasdaq listing regulations and SEC disclosure obligations.

• Create, update, and customize standard contract templates and "playbooks" to empower global sales and procurement teams.

• Recognize and communicate potential legal and regulatory risks to senior management, offering actionable solutions instead of merely highlighting challenges.

• Provide company secretarial support as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with over 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).

• Proven experience working in (or advising) a publicly traded company, particularly with an understanding of the complexities of a US-listed (Nasdaq/NYSE) environment.

• Strong technical expertise in commercial law, with a demonstrated ability to lead high-stakes negotiations autonomously.

• Experience in managing external legal service providers and a successful record of enhancing value and efficiency from outside counsel.
