In-House Corporate Counsel – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manages, prepares, and negotiates legal documents such as software licenses, service agreements, vendor contracts, and nondisclosure agreements.

• Possesses privacy and security expertise, particularly with data protection agreements and similar contracts.

• Oversees the company's legal activities aimed at safeguarding the company’s interests while advising managers on the implications of laws and regulations on their respective areas.

• Coordinates all documentation through the legal process.

• Prepares and evaluates proposed contracts, formal agreements, and other legal instruments.

• Oversees license compliance and conducts audits of customers.

• Daily management of all software licensing and software contract activities.

• Collaborates closely with Sales and other internal teams (including Sales, Finance, and Operations) regarding legal issues and contract management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

• Active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software licensing and commercial contracting.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and business partnership abilities.
