This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
β’ Manages investigator payments by handling the investigator payment component in various CTMS tools such as IMPACT, Medidata, and Clinpay.
β’ Collaborates with the project manager to review data for quality and completeness, processes and creates approved grant payment requests via the CTM tools, and communicates with A/P; distributes investigator payments to the appropriate sites.
β’ Facilitates site payments by coordinating with internal groups including clinical operations, project management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and site contracts teams.
β’ Works with regional colleagues to maintain a comprehensive global perspective on project payment and funding status.
β’ Partners with accounts receivable and project management to ensure that advance funding is secured from sponsors promptly for global project requirements, ensuring that deposits are available before processing site payments.
β’ Develops, updates, and reconciles the MS Excel Project Grant Tracker as needed.
β’ Reviews and analyzes Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs) and their amendments to confirm that payments are executed in accordance with the documented payment terms and schedule.
β’ Escalates discrepancies to the line manager or the relevant project team member as necessary.
β’ Guides project teams through the grants payment process and assists with system navigation as required.
β’ Gathers, compiles, and generates necessary information to support sponsor invoicing.
β’ Works with the clinical team to address invoice discrepancies, follow up on overdue invoices, and request refunds from sites.
β’ Ensures that appropriate account and project coding are applied to third-party invoices concerning investigator payments.
β’ Generates project reports as requested by sponsors, operations, accounting, and/or upper management to aid in Sunshine Act reporting, various statutory reports, the monthly closing process, and ad hoc financial analysis.
β’ Supports the Investigator Payments Manager in conducting audits of site payments and sponsor deposits.
β’ BA/BS degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with some financial experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
β’ Strong proficiency in Excel for spreadsheet analysis.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as in email and voicemail communications.
β’ Experience with Oracle is preferred but not required.
β’ Proficiency in a foreign language is preferred.
β’ Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
