Implementation Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain internal software tools and automated workflows for Implementation teams.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various organizational levels to gather requirements, comprehend business context, and convert needs into technical solutions.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to swiftly prototype and deliver production-quality solutions.

• Monitor, prioritize, and address bugs and enhancement requests in an organized backlog.

• Engage in team meetings to discuss priorities, share updates, and collaborate on technical strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong programming fundamentals and the capability to write clean, simple, and efficient code for production-level applications.

• Familiarity with version control systems, Git/GitHub, and collaborative development workflows.

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools to quickly learn new technologies and build solutions.

• A builder’s mindset; a readiness to ship and iterate rather than waiting for a perfect specification.

• Excellent communication skills for converting business stakeholder challenges into technical plans.

• Ability to work independently while remaining connected to the team.

• Actively keep up with industry advancements and implement new tools and techniques.

• Experience with Python, SQL, TypeScript, or Microsoft Power Platform is a plus.

• Exposure to payroll, HR technology, or implementation/onboarding workflows is advantageous.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Data Science, or equivalent experience.

• 0–2 years of professional experience in software development.

• Open to candidates at early-career and mid-level stages.

• Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk or workstation, typically 7–8 hours per day.

• Capability to operate a computer, utilize phone systems, and work across multiple software programs concurrently.
