This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Oversee the execution and integration of customer point-of-care solutions, ensuring post-close activities are managed effectively and aiming for a 60-day implementation-to-revenue timeframe.
• Spearhead product installation and integration by applying best practices in implementation.
• Collaborate with customers, Point of Care Sales Specialists, and other stakeholders to encourage the utilization and adoption of i-STAT products.
• Safeguard base business by acting as a clinical laboratory resource alongside field sales.
• Formulate and execute strategies to maintain base business and mitigate loss and decline.
• Identify and develop growth opportunities in targeted accounts as the pre-close laboratory technical specialist.
• Assist with pre-close implementation tasks to drive sales expansion and generate new business.
• Aid in reorganizing institutional processes to enhance patient care through Abbott Point of Care products.
• Provide educational presentations to physicians, nurses, medical directors, and hospital administrators.
• Enhance implementation efficiency and reduce timelines for complex, high-priority projects.
• Create and implement implementation strategies and lead or engage in cross-functional teams.
• Establish practices, projects, programs, and initiatives to optimize cartridge utilization.
• Direct resources to ensure exceptional front-line customer support.
• Grasp customer requirements and effectively communicate the benefits of point-of-care testing.
• Manage multiple products, implementations, and sales cycles concurrently.
• Exhibit product knowledge and conduct demonstrations effectively.
• Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Execute administrative tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
• Mentor and train new staff, serving as the lead implementation personnel and peer leader.
• Travel up to 80% to meet business objectives.
• Adhere to EHS policies and ensure the effectiveness of the Quality System.
• Comply with Abbott's Code of Business Conduct.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, ideally in Medical Technology, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, or a related discipline.
• An Associate degree is acceptable with additional experience and proven competence.
• Generally, 3–5 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including over 3 years in project management.
• Capability to maintain progress across multiple products, implementations, and sales cycles.
• Proficiency in managing projects with various stakeholders and process owners.
• Strong communication skills, enabling clear, concise, and accurate exchanges.
• Ability to build and nurture interpersonal and professional relationships.
• Proactive approach and effective problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
• Competence with databases and other software applications.
• Confidence in public speaking and leading training sessions.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within teams.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills.
• Outstanding customer service experience, particularly in managing facility-stakeholder relationships.
• Willingness and capability to travel by all means of transportation, with overnight travel up to 80% of the time.
• Candidates must reside within the South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, or Florida territory.
