This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Travel to client locations to carry out installations, which include uncrating, transporting, and positioning equipment, followed by connecting power and data, programming, networking, and powering up systems to finalize the implementation.
• Act as the representative of IPA onsite, introducing end users (nurses, physicians, administrators) to new equipment and processes while instilling confidence from the outset.
• Provide training to clients on software, loading and unloading procedures, common issues, and basic troubleshooting to ensure they are equipped for success after your departure.
• Diagnose and resolve intricate hardware, software, firmware, and networking issues during implementations as well as on the most escalated service calls.
• Maintain expertise in wiring, soldering, hand tools, and testing equipment like multi-meters and oscilloscopes.
• Assist with system administration tasks, which include foundational knowledge of Linux and installation and configuration of Clearview software.
• Conduct preventative maintenance visits while focusing on the long-term health of the client's overall program rather than just individual machines.
• Communicate proactively and effectively through daily progress emails, timely escalations, and precise case documentation in Salesforce, ensuring that the right stakeholders are informed at the appropriate times.
• Manage your own travel and expenses in an efficient and responsible manner, balancing time, cost, and convenience while traveling approximately 80% of the time.
• Anticipate common challenges associated with implementations before they occur and share lessons learned to facilitate smoother future implementations for the entire team.
• An associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is preferred; prior experience as a field technician is ideal.
• A problem-solver who takes pleasure in addressing both complex and straightforward issues with enthusiasm.
• A service-oriented mindset, comfortable interacting with individuals ranging from entry-level staff to C-level executives.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt your communication style to suit different audiences.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and networking issues, along with a genuine desire to continue learning.
• Willingness to travel at least 80% of the time and work independently from a home office setting.
• Capability to lift a minimum of 100 lbs. and perform regular tasks such as pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, and lifting.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to maintain necessary immunizations for hospital site access.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce is advantageous but not mandatory.
