Implementation Engineer, Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Evaluate client requirements and install as well as implement legal, accounting, consulting systems, integrations, and enterprise solutions.

• Offer guidance and leadership to all team members.

• Utilize deployment methodologies and serve as an escalation point for complex issues.

• Provide go-live support during off-hours and execute production system upgrades.

• Transition on-premises solutions to the cloud using REST services and third-party tools.

• Generate reports utilizing SQL and cloud-based reporting tools.

• Oversee the complete software implementation process, including scoping, planning, development, installation, configuration, deployment, and support.

• Manage client communications and establish project expectations.

• Assist in product rollouts and provide training to end users.

• Prioritize tasks to align with client expectations.

• Maintain up-to-date professional and technical knowledge.

• Offer design and architecture expertise for client integrations.

• Create and implement integrations with Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, flat files, XML files, and APIs.

• Provision Boomi ATOMS and resolve on-premises resource access issues.

• Act as a technical configuration resource and a functional client-facing resource for new integrations.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and address client integration concerns.

• Own the integration strategy and rationalization.

• Populate cloud-hosted systems using REST services.

• Collaborate closely with clients to deploy software solutions that include their data.

• Provide technical solutions to non-technical clients.

• Review and resolve intricate technical support inquiries.

• Maintain an 80–90% utilization rate on client-billable projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum of 5+ years in a customer-facing software implementation role within a legal services or law firm environment.

• Experience in writing queries for Microsoft SQL Server with a strong grasp of relational database structure and normalization.

• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft SQL scripting language.

• Competence in problem-solving, customer focus, communication, collaboration, organizational support, quality focus, and punctuality.

• Preferred: Expert-level proficiency in XML, JQUERY/JSON, REST APIs, Parquet.

• Preferred: Expert-level proficiency in IIS, SSL, XML, JQUERY.

• Preferred: Familiarity with ETL concepts and data warehousing integrations.

• Preferred: Experience with the Sisense reporting tool.

• Preferred: Familiarity with legal systems such as Aderant, Elite, iManage.

• Preferred: Advanced knowledge in legal operations and technical domains.

• Preferred: Experience with Dell Boomi.

• Preferred: Experience using Microsoft ADF/Azure Data Factory and related object types.

• Preferred: Experience with KeyVault, Blob Storage, ADLSg2, Logic Apps, or Power Automate.

• Preferred: Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, or TFVC.

• Preferred: Experience with Functions and Azure Managed Identities.
