Implementation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Set up Alkami Digital Banking products and third-party integrations for client onboarding and enhancement projects.

• Take charge of assigned technical implementation tasks, manage timelines, and guarantee that deliverables meet quality benchmarks.

• Resolve implementation and configuration challenges by examining system behavior, logs, and technical documentation.

• Install, set up, and tailor platform functionalities while ensuring system performance is validated.

• Work in collaboration with project managers, client stakeholders, product teams, vendors, support, engineering, and customer-facing teams.

• Implement test plans, record results, and confirm platform configurations.

• Oversee third-party vendor integrations, verify connectivity, and address interface issues.

• Develop and maintain configuration records, technical procedures, issue tracking information, and project artifacts.

• Examine client requirements, identify dependencies, and suggest configuration strategies.

• Offer technical support throughout the implementation phase and during post-go-live activities.

• Employ best practices for implementation, security standards, and quality controls.

• Discover opportunities for process improvement and recommend enhancements to workflows or documentation.

• Share technical knowledge, update team resources, and assist in onboarding or mentoring less experienced team members.

• Balance project schedules, technical troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication across multiple engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in software implementations, technical consulting, systems configuration, or client onboarding within SaaS, fintech, banking technology, or similar fields.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology, or a related discipline.

• Experience in configuring software platforms or supporting technical implementation projects.

• Familiarity with troubleshooting methodologies and practices for resolving technical issues.

• Experience with relational databases such as Postgres, MSSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.

• Capability to analyze implementation requirements and apply appropriate configuration solutions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and implementation timelines effectively.

• Ability to work autonomously within established implementation processes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in documenting technical procedures, configurations, and implementation tasks.

• Preferred: experience in digital banking, fintech, or financial services technology platforms.

• Preferred: understanding of APIs, system integrations, or data exchange processes.

• Preferred: proficiency in C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.

• Preferred: experience with project management, ticketing, or documentation platforms.

• Preferred: familiarity with SaaS implementation methodologies or customer onboarding processes.

• Preferred: experience in supporting client-facing technical projects within a cross-functional setting.
