Implementation Consultant, Food and Beverage R&D Workbench

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete delivery process for Enterprise and Mid-Market onboardings, which encompasses kickoff, project management, configuration workshops, training, and hypercare execution.

• Facilitate domain-specific configuration workshops focusing on formula worksheets, product categories, claims libraries, and allergen regulations in collaboration with customer R&D and regulatory teams.

• Serve as the initial scoper for new onboarding agreements, generating effort estimates and identifying any non-standard requirements.

• Record hours and outcomes for each engagement to support repeatable fixed-fee onboarding packages.

• Gather customer requirements and create solution designs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Collaborate with the Solution Data Architect to define the scope and deliverables for implementations across various business sizes.

• Advise and assist customers on best practices for business transformation and process optimization.

• Help with data imports, conduct quality checks, and verify client data.

• Carry out quality assessments against requirements and acceptance criteria throughout the delivery process.

• Work directly with clients in sectors such as food and beverage, packaging, consumer goods, beauty and cosmetics, wine and spirits, automotive, and chemicals.

• Contribute to the development of scoping templates, configuration playbooks, and onboarding documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of technical or domain experience in food and beverage R&D, regulatory affairs, or closely related CPG/manufacturing functions.

• Sufficient experience to conduct formula and specification design sessions with food scientists.

• Hands-on experience with Genesis, ENTR, FlavorStudio, or a similar product development/specification platform is strongly preferred.

• Proven experience in delivering SaaS implementations, including scoping, requirements documentation, configuration, and go-live.

• Skilled in developing requirements documentation, data mapping, process flow diagrams, and data models.

• Capability to independently run customer workshops and produce scope documents and effort estimates.

• Industry experience in Food & Beverage, Packaging, Consumer Goods, or Supply Chain is highly preferred.

• Experience in Salesforce.com administration is preferred.

• Proficient in presenting to C-level executives and cross-functional leadership.

• Familiarity with SaaS hybrid or agile implementation methodologies.

• Ability to communicate effectively in business terms with customers and technical terms with implementation teams.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accountability, and the capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects.

• Aptitude for addressing ambiguous challenges, identifying practical solutions, and learning new technologies.
