Impaired Driving Instructor, Massachusetts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Delivers clinical services to groups and/or individuals mandated by the Court or RMV.

• Conducts comprehensive initial assessments for adult program admissions, mid-term evaluations, and exit interviews for each participant.

• Engages in continuous curriculum development and provides necessary documentation and consultation with probation officers, the courts, and the Department of Motor Vehicles.

• Aids participants in identifying, articulating, and pursuing recovery goals while minimizing the risk of recidivism.

• Supports individuals in establishing and executing treatment and recovery objectives for substance use and co-occurring disorders.

• Informs, supports, and empowers participants with knowledge about community resources, recovery supports, and self-help groups.

• Keeps up-to-date with recovery-oriented practices through training, webinars, and professional development opportunities.

• Completes all necessary documentation and administrative responsibilities, ensuring timely reporting of crises or incidents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates MUST reside in one of the following states to qualify: Massachusetts, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, Vermont, Maine, West Virginia, or Puerto Rico.

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related discipline OR independent licensure is required.

• Demonstrated experience and expertise in substance use disorder treatment and recovery, including familiarity with addiction services and local resources.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
