Impact Team Director – Rooms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee the Rooms Division teams to provide outstanding guest experiences.

• Supervise the daily operations of the Front Office, Housekeeping, Laundry, and Guest Services departments.

• Manage inventory including linens, pars, and more.

• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between departments.

• Track and respond to guest feedback, guaranteeing effective service recovery and ongoing improvement.

• Administer departmental budgets, labor productivity, and cost controls to achieve or surpass financial goals.

• Formulate and execute strategies to enhance service quality and operational effectiveness.

• Recruit, train, mentor, and cultivate department leaders and team members.

• Ensure adherence to all safety, hygiene, and brand standards.

• Maintain a prominent presence during peak guest times to support the team and interact with guests.

• Work collaboratively with other departments such as Sales, Engineering, and Food & Beverage to promote overall success.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in the Rooms Division within a full-service hotel is required.

• Brand knowledge, particularly with Hilton and Marriott, is essential.

• Experience in Front Office and Housekeeping is mandatory.

• Proficiency in property management systems (e.g., Light Speed, Opera, FOSSE, OnQ, etc.) is required.

• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.

• Strong financial and analytical skills, with experience in managing departmental budgets.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• A Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
