Immunotherapy Advanced Clinical Practitioner – National

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in the safe administration of immunotherapy treatments within GenesisCare’s medical oncology centres.

• Conduct both in-person and virtual clinics for patients dealing with immunotherapy side effects, aiding consultants in their safe management.

• Serve as a liaison among consultants, relevant general medical specialists, and the broader GenesisCare team.

• Inform primary care teams about the toxicities their patients are experiencing and coordinate a safe transition back to primary care for long-term management.

• Remain updated with the latest protocols, guidelines, and policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive post-registration clinical experience in cancer immunotherapy.

• Demonstrated experience in providing training.

• Strong leadership capabilities and change management skills.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and teaching abilities.

• Background in clinical audit, incident investigation, and quality enhancement.

• Experience in establishing a new service.

• Familiarity with multiple healthcare environments or experience within a teaching hospital.

• Registered healthcare professional (e.g., NMC, HCPC) at least Band 7 or equivalent.

• Proof of Master's level study or a willingness to pursue it.

• Independent Non-Medical Prescriber (V300) – preferred (or a commitment to work towards this qualification).

• Understanding of national immunotoxicity guidelines.

• Knowledge of governance frameworks, CQC standards, and training compliance requirements.

• Leadership qualification or proof of leadership training.
