This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Achieve or surpass the sales and expense targets for the territory by devising and executing territory-specific strategies.
• Build and sustain professional relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare practitioners.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of the company’s products and relevant medical conditions.
• Create Territory Business Plans, organize workdays and weeks, outline call strategies, and prepare for sales meetings.
• Initiate and execute territory programs such as speakers’ bureaus and symposiums.
• Establish and maintain permanent customer records.
• Complete administrative responsibilities promptly and accurately.
• Deliver clear and effective sales presentations to clients.
• Uphold a professional sales image in all business interactions.
• Manage the assigned sales territory in accordance with regulations, pharmaceutical guidelines, and company policies.
• Participate in regional and national conferences throughout the year.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of experience in Rheumatology or Pulmonology.
• Alternatively, an Associate’s Degree with 5+ years of experience, or 7+ years of proven success in the pharmaceutical industry or equivalent experience in the specified therapeutic areas.
• Proven track record as a top performer.
• Exceptional clinical selling abilities.
• Strong knowledge of clinical and disease states.
• Awareness of industry trends, economic sectors, and market dynamics.
• Capable of developing new business and enhancing existing customer relationships.
• Ability to communicate accurately, succinctly, and persuasively to diverse audiences.
• Skillful in identifying and utilizing resources to resolve issues.
• Preferably possess current experience within the territory and familiarity with customers.
• Experience in selling biologics to specialty physicians in rare disease areas is a plus.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license required.
• Willingness and capability to travel locally, including occasional overnight trips.
• Must be able to attend regional and national conferences.
