• Achieve or surpass all defined sales and territory goals by formulating and implementing strategic business plans specifically for the Rheumatology, Ophthalmology, and Pulmonology sectors.
• Collaborate effectively with our portfolio representatives in adjacent territories to discover synergistic opportunities and enhance customer engagement.
• Build and sustain professional relationships with key opinion leaders, physicians, and significant decision-makers within the ophthalmology networks.
• Maintain extensive clinical and product knowledge to convey complex disease states and therapeutic information with confidence and clarity.
• Deliver professional, compliant, and impactful sales presentations to clients and during conferences.
• Conduct operations with utmost integrity, adhering strictly to all company and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in regional and national conferences throughout the year to foster relationships and advocate for Rheumatology, Ophthalmology, and Pulmonology initiatives.
• A Bachelor’s Degree and over 5 years of experience in any of the following therapeutic areas: Rheumatology, Ophthalmology, and Pulmonology.
• Alternatively, consideration will be given to candidates with an associate’s degree and 7+ years of experience, or those with 10+ years of successful, proven pharmaceutical or industry equivalent experience in Rheumatology, Ophthalmology, or Pulmonology.
• Current familiarity with the territory and customer knowledge is essential.
• Experience in selling biologics or specialty pharmaceuticals to ophthalmologists or retina specialists is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of success in managing larger, complex territories with various account types (private practice, academic, institutional).
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and influencing abilities within matrixed teams.
• A valid motor vehicle operator's license and the capability to travel locally up to 40%.
