Imaging Clinical Research Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and implementation of comprehensive clinical development programs for diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals in both early and late-phase stages.

• Establish clinical strategies, define endpoints, identify patient populations, and set imaging criteria.

• Design studies to assess diagnostic accuracy, timing of imaging, selection of patient biomarkers, and comparative performance against standard imaging practices.

• Act as a scientific authority in molecular imaging techniques such as PET, SPECT, CT, and MRI.

• Analyze and interpret molecular imaging results, focusing on tumor localization, tracer biodistribution, dosimetry, and longitudinal assessment of responses.

• Evaluate imaging biomarkers and performance indicators, including sensitivity, specificity, standardized uptake values, and tumor-to-background ratios.

• Provide strategic insights into advanced image analysis techniques.

• Utilize knowledge of disease biology to inform the strategy of diagnostic imaging programs.

• Collaborate with physicians, scientists, medical physicists, imaging operations, and teams focused on advanced image analysis.

• Lead cross-functional initiatives and liaise with CROs, academic institutions, software developers, and manufacturers of imaging equipment.

• Assess emerging imaging technologies, modeling techniques, and artificial intelligence applications for clinical initiatives.

• Author and review clinical and regulatory documentation.

• Contribute to technical manuals and documentation related to imaging trials.

• Present scientific findings through presentations, conference abstracts, and publications in peer-reviewed journals.

• Carry out additional tasks as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Medical Doctor degree.

• Must be board eligible or certified in a medical specialty pertinent to the role, or have completed equivalent post-medical school clinical training relevant to the hiring country.

• U.S.-trained physicians must have attained board eligibility or certification.

• Non-U.S.-trained physicians must have completed their education and training at a medical school that meets LCME standards.

• At least 5 years of experience in clinical development.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the industry.

• Experience in tracer development and a background in oncology, immunology, and/or cardiology is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory guidelines.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Willingness to travel approximately 10–15%.
