Illustration, Product Design Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop new artwork and complete sets in accordance with Hadley Designs' established style across our range of products.

• Illustrate original elements such as characters, motifs, patterns, and scenes that align with our charming, kid-friendly aesthetic.

• Transform the concepts and creative vision provided by the CCO into finalized, production-ready product designs.

• Manage the design process from initial handoff to final execution without reverting tasks back up the chain.

• Take ownership of the execution offload (variations, full set design expansion, and file preparation) to ease the CCO's workload.

• Create print and production files according to specifications, and design mockups and product previews for listings.

• Ensure every piece remains on-brand and stylistically consistent throughout the complete product set.

• Update and maintain the living style-reference to ensure cohesive aesthetics as the catalog expands.

• A portfolio showcasing original illustration work that embodies a cute, playful, kid-friendly, or product design aesthetic.

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for native illustration (beyond just file handling or layout).

• Capacity to replicate and extend an existing art style, ensuring new pieces integrate seamlessly with original works.

• Strong capability to interpret written and verbal creative direction and convert it into polished final products.

• Dependability in meeting deadlines while juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
