Ignition Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage client projects across various industry sectors with a focus on Information Solutions.

• Perform technical project tasks, deliver outcomes, and uphold schedules, quality standards, and client satisfaction.

• Collaborate with clients to identify and oversee project scope on intricate assignments.

• Organize project timelines and collaborate with Project Managers for effective execution.

• Implement company-wide Design Group standards and protocols in Information Solutions projects.

• Engage in councils that oversee and adopt organization-wide standards.

• Steer projects to completion while providing technical assistance to project teams.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with key client stakeholders.

• Offer technical guidance to junior professionals and assist in enhancing the technical expertise of the Information Solutions group.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in developing and delivering software solutions for consumer products, life sciences, and/or industrial sectors.

• Proven experience in architecting and implementing MES and data collection/reporting systems across diverse platforms.

• Strong preference for familiarity with Ignition, Sepasoft, or custom MES/database development.

• Previous experience as a system integrator is advantageous.

• Experience with Python, SQL, JavaScript, and Java is beneficial.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), Git version control, or Figma is a plus.

• A solid track record of effective client interactions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Capability to engage with all levels of management, clients, and vendors.

• Willingness and capability to travel as required for project needs.

• A minimum of a B.S. in an Engineering field is preferred; other degrees in computer or software disciplines may be considered based on relevant experience.
