This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Provide support and resolve cases related to IFS Finance across GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets and lease accounting, Group consolidation, Tax reporting, Project Accounting, Business planning, and Cash Management.
• Address and resolve cases within the IFS Projects module, focusing on various project types, budgets, costing, and deliverables.
• Configure and verify financial posting rules, voucher types, and period controls.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of the project module, which includes project structures, phases, milestones, and cost elements.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to project actuals, WIP recognition, and revenue recognition.
• Support the configuration of CRIM and the CRIM development workstream, which includes data setup and coordination of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot issues involving erroneous postings, batch invoicing failures, and reconciliation discrepancies.
• Assist in repairing financial project data and support period-end project closure activities.
• Help with payroll extract and integration issues that affect the finance layer.
• Provide support for workflow and financial automation inquiries.
• Manage activities related to period-end and year-end closing support.
• Document resolutions for cases, root-cause analyses, and create knowledge base articles.
• Deliver clear and professional updates and status communications to clients regarding case progress.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and delivery of enhancements.
• Minimum of 2 years of practical experience with IFS in both Finance and Projects modules (either implementation or support).
• Possession of a foundation-level accounting qualification or higher.
• Strong understanding of IFS GL, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets.
• Proficient knowledge of IFS project costing, budgeting, and management of deliverables.
• Proven ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex IFS configuration problems.
• Experience in customer/client support within a live, ticketed environment.
• Exceptional written English skills, as client-facing documentation is a key daily responsibility.
• Must be based in Australia with an unrestricted right to work; comfortable with a fully remote role that may involve occasional travel.
