IFS ERP Finance Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Provide support and resolve IFS Finance issues related to GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, lease accounting, Group consolidation, Tax reporting, Project Accounting, Business planning, and Cash Management.

• Configure and verify financial posting rules, voucher types, and period controls.

• Diagnose project actuals, WIP recognition, and revenue recognition challenges.

• Address erroneous postings, batch invoicing failures, and reconciliation discrepancies.

• Assist with payroll extraction and integration issues affecting the finance layer.

• Offer support for workflow and financial automation inquiries.

• Oversee period-end and year-end closing support tasks.

• Document case resolutions, conduct root-cause analyses, and create knowledge base articles.

• Generate clear, professional case updates and status communications for clients.

• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and the delivery of enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 2 years of hands-on experience with the IFS Finance module (implementation or support).

• A foundation-level accounting qualification or higher.

• Strong understanding of IFS GL, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets.

• Experience in customer/client support within a live, ticketed environment.

• Excellent written English skills for client-facing documentation.

• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex financial configuration problems.

• Located in Australia with unrestricted work rights; comfortable with a fully remote role that may require occasional travel.
