This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Gather, document, and oversee business and functional requirements for authentication and identity workflows, which encompass login, multi-factor authentication, account recovery, and credential consolidation.
• Evaluate and chart current-state identity journeys, noting pain points, inherent business logic, and integration dependencies.
• Convert requirements into user stories, process flows, and functional specifications that can be utilized by engineering and architecture teams.
• Collaborate with identity architects, UI developers, and security engineers to ensure that solutions align with business and compliance standards.
• Assist in the design and documentation of the identity Abstraction Layer, making sure that application team requirements are captured and represented in the vendor-agnostic integration model.
• Lead working sessions and workshops with business and technology stakeholders to uncover requirements and foster alignment.
• Maintain a requirements traceability matrix to ensure that requirements are monitored throughout the delivery process.
• Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies across workstreams and escalate them as necessary.
• Create clear, well-structured documentation, including BRDs, user stories, process maps, and meeting summaries.
• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology programs.
• Experience in supporting identity, authentication, or access management initiatives, including familiarity with concepts such as SSO, MFA, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, or federation.
• Proven ability to gather and document requirements in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Expertise in creating business requirements documents, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills, capable of engaging with business, security, and engineering audiences.
• Experience in large, complex enterprise environments; exposure to regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or government is advantageous.
• Understanding of Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience in programs involving identity platform modernization, migration, or consolidation.
• Familiarity with identity vendors like Ping Identity, Transmit Security, Okta, ForgeRock, or similar.
• Exposure to credential consolidation or single sign-on initiatives that span multiple products or business lines.
• Experience in supporting mobile authentication or SDK integration programs.
• Previous work in financial services, online banking, or other high-stakes consumer-facing digital products is beneficial.
• CBAP, PMI-PBA, or an equivalent BA certification is a plus.
• Must be based in the United States and authorized to work without sponsorship.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
