Technical Business Analyst – Data Migration, Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Crafting business specifications and solution designs for data migration projects

• Evaluating source data using SQL and ensuring data quality

• Creating mapping and transformation logic between source and target systems

• Converting business requirements into technical solution concepts

• Prototyping and developing solutions with the aid of modern AI tools, particularly Claude Code

• Developing testing and validation strategies for migration data

• Collaborating with business units, IT teams, and external partners

• Documenting migration procedures, rules, and solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field

• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in data or migration projects

• Proficient SQL skills and a background in complex data analysis

• Experience in the insurance industry is a significant advantage

• Strong analytical skills and a passion for translating business needs into technical solutions

• High enthusiasm for modern AI technologies and AI-assisted development

• Ability to work independently, in a structured, and self-directed manner

• Proficient in German and competent in English

• Must reside in the Ruhr area
