Identity Security Engineering Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement the cloud-first IGA/IAM modernization strategy.

• Manage the onboarding of applications across the enterprise while transitioning from legacy systems to scalable, standardized identity service platforms.

• Design and automate complete identity lifecycle event flows (Joiner/Mover/Leaver).

• Streamline access certification workflows via API integrations, infrastructure-as-code, and automation features of the platform.

• Lead and mentor an engineering team utilizing Agile methodologies.

• Develop standard operating procedures, manage change, and foster continuous delivery practices.

• Enhance and secure hybrid directory infrastructure.

• Retain technical oversight of Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, and enterprise IGA platforms.

• Act as the primary technical escalation point and compliance subject matter expert.

• Oversee internal and external IAM audits.

• Create security control documentation.

• Convert identity risk data into strategic advice for senior leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of relevant experience OR Associate's/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience OR 7 years of job-specific experience required.

• Preferred: 3 years of leadership or management experience.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, or a closely related engineering field.

• Preferred: Active, recognized cybersecurity certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CIAM.

• Preferred: Current formal engineering or administration certification on an enterprise-grade IGA/IAM platform ecosystem such as SailPoint, Saviynt, or Okta.

• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID.

• Experience with enterprise IGA/IAM platforms like SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, or OneIdentity.

• Familiarity with API integrations, infrastructure-as-code, and platform-native automation.

• Experience with Agile frameworks, standard operating procedures, change management, and continuous delivery.

• Experience in managing IAM audits and security control documentation.

• Capability to translate identity risk data for senior leadership.
