Identity Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the senior technical lead and the primary expert on enterprise IAM technologies and services.

• Take ownership of the technical direction and engineering roadmap for the IAM program.

• Establish standards for IAM architecture, engineering best practices, and implementation methodologies.

• Lead technical design evaluations and offer architectural guidance on enterprise initiatives.

• Assess emerging IAM, IGA, and security technologies, recommending strategic investments.

• Design and maintain IAM solutions across Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.

• Spearhead automation projects utilizing PowerShell, APIs, orchestration platforms, and workflow technologies.

• Create integrations between HR systems, ITSM platforms, IAM solutions, and business applications.

• Minimize manual effort via automation, self-service functionalities, and process optimization.

• Direct the design and implementation of enterprise RBAC and entitlement governance.

• Develop scalable access models and governance standards that support least privilege and regulatory compliance.

• Evaluate, recommend, and assist in implementing IGA platforms.

• Design identity lifecycle processes for onboarding, transfers, role changes, and terminations.

• Enhance provisioning, deprovisioning, certification, and access review processes through automation.

• Lead initiatives in privileged access governance, service account management, SSO, MFA, federation, and Zero Trust.

• Ensure IAM controls are compliant with regulatory, audit, and cybersecurity standards.

• Collaborate with Security Architecture and Engineering to bolster enterprise identity controls.

• Formulate enterprise IAM standards, operational procedures, and engineering documentation.

• Serve as the highest technical escalation point for intricate IAM issues.

• Propel continuous process improvement and organizational maturity across the IAM program.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in IAM, Identity Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering, or related fields.

• SC-300, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications.

• Profound expertise in Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, authentication, federation, RBAC, and access governance.

• Advanced experience in PowerShell scripting and automation.

• Experience in evaluating or implementing Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions.

• Proven experience in designing enterprise IAM integrations using APIs and workflow platforms.

• Demonstrated capability to independently lead enterprise technical initiatives.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

• Familiarity with SailPoint, Omada, Saviynt, Microsoft Entra Suite, or similar IGA platforms.

• Experience in integrating HRIS and ITSM platforms into IAM workflows.

• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and identity security frameworks.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualifications.

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
