Identity Adoption Specialist

Posted Jul 19

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the comprehensive adoption of BeyondTrust Identity Security Insights within a designated portfolio of licensed clients, ensuring that all necessary connectors are strategically planned, deployed, configured, and validated.

• Act as the technical lead for the Adoption teams.

• Develop and implement tailored Success Plans for each client, with clear milestones for connector go-live, NHI discovery, AI-agent discovery, and closure of posture recommendations.

• Create a consistent engagement rhythm that fosters sustainable usage habits, encouraging every customer to perform at least three core Insights actions weekly (such as reviewing findings, triaging Paths to Privilege, and closing posture recommendations); proactively re-engage customers who become inactive.

• Utilize the adoption playbook in Pathfinder and extend identity control into Password Safe, EPM, and Entitle when relevant use cases arise, enabling customers to experience “Every Identity Everywhere” as a practical operational reality.

• Enhance adoption across the entire Insights connector catalog, which includes identity providers, cloud IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, secrets managers, SaaS applications, code and CI/CD, and agentic-AI platforms, while continuously expanding coverage as new integrations become available.

• Convert Insights findings (including True Privilege Graph relationships and Paths to Privilege) into risk narratives and prioritized remediation plans articulated in customer-friendly language.

• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success Management, Technical Account Management, Renewals, and Product teams to identify adoption risks, expansion opportunities, and product feedback; relay enhancement requests and telemetry gaps back into the product roadmap.

• Contribute to enablement materials (such as runbooks, configuration guides, and dashboards) that amplify impact beyond one-on-one engagement and expedite the time-to-first-value.

• Provide input for baseline and ongoing reporting on program KPIs, including the percentage of customers with active weekly Insights usage (3+ core actions per week), risks remediated, posture recommendations closed per customer, and value milestones achieved.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in technical presales, technical account management, professional services, customer success engineering, or identity/IAM consulting.

• Familiarity with identity security concepts encompassing human, nonhuman, and AI identities.

• Proven experience in deploying and managing connectors or integrations between a security/identity platform and enterprise sources of identity and entitlement data.

• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage a portfolio of clients in a dynamic, metrics-oriented environment.

• Experience with Success Plans, customer health scoring, action tracking, issue resolution, and de-escalation of customer concerns.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with the capability to translate technical findings into clear risk and value narratives for both technical and business stakeholders.

• A proactive approach is essential; the IAS is expected to initiate activity rather than wait for it to occur.

• Familiarity with several of the following identity security domains (depth in every area is not required):

• Identity providers and directories (such as Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Okta, Ping) and federation/SSO (SAML, OIDC).

• OAuth 2.0, OIDC, service principals, managed identities, workload identity, and machine-to-machine authentication patterns.

• Nonhuman identity categories including service accounts, API keys, tokens, certificates, OAuth apps, bots, and agentic-AI identities.

• Knowledge of agentic-AI platforms and frameworks (e.g., copilots, autonomous agents, MCP servers) and the identity risks they present.

• Experience with related identity security categories such as CIEM, ITDR, ISPM, PAM, IGA, and NHI management tools.

• Proficiency in SQL or scripting (PowerShell, Python) for analyzing extensive identity datasets, entitlement graphs, and audit logs.

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, code repositories, and developer platforms as sources of machine identity and secrets.

• Knowledge of secrets and credential management (vaults, secret managers, key management services) and privileged access concepts including just-in-time, least privilege, and session management.

• Experience with Cloud IAM in one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including roles, policies, trust relationships, and cross-account/cross-tenant access patterns.

🏝️ Benefits

• A culture that promotes flexibility.

• A foundation of trust.

• Opportunities for continual learning.
