Identity & Access Management Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and sustain Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions.

• Create and manage enterprise authorization and permission frameworks.

• Ensure appropriate segregation of privileged and standard accounts in line with the organization's tiering strategy.

• Oversee identities, groups, roles, and permissions across Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and SaaS applications.

• Set up and manage Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), which includes:

• Role Definitions

• Scopes

• Permission Inheritance

• Custom Roles

• Process and execute access requests received via ServiceNow while liaising with stakeholders to clarify business needs when necessary.

• Develop and sustain PowerShell automation scripts for identity and access management operations.

• Collaborate with Microsoft Graph, Az PowerShell modules, and associated Microsoft technologies to streamline administrative tasks.

• Ensure all IAM activities adhere to internal security policies, compliance standards, and audit requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive technical expertise in:

• Active Directory

• Microsoft Entra ID

• Identity and access management for SaaS applications

• Strong understanding of Azure RBAC principles and administration.

• Proficient in PowerShell scripting, including Microsoft Graph and Az PowerShell modules.

• Solid grasp of privileged access management and account tiering concepts.

• Effective communication skills in German, as the role involves working with ServiceNow tickets and engaging with requestors to clarify access needs.

• Experience in regulated enterprise environments is considered advantageous.
