ICT Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Designing and managing ICT and low-voltage systems, encompassing structured cabling, telecommunications, access control, video surveillance (CCTV), and security systems.

• Utilizing BIM tools to model and synchronize ICT systems with other engineering disciplines, specifically using Autodesk Revit – a requirement.

• Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the project requirements concerning scope, cost, and schedule.

• Identifying and accelerating the engineering deliverables for projects.

• Developing and updating project scope of work documentation and revisions throughout the design phase.

• Creating engineering calculations, system layouts, and technical documentation for ICT infrastructure.

• Preparing the technical documentation necessary for project execution, including design criteria, technical specifications, and equipment data sheets.

• Evaluating shop drawings and contractor submissions.

• Generating models and drawings using BIM and CAD modeling tools.

• Facilitating collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams during project development and execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, IT, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated expertise as an ICT / telecommunications / low-voltage systems engineer.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English at B1 level or higher.

• Experience in ICT design, including structured cabling systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and security systems.

• Background in designing low-voltage systems for industrial, commercial, or mission-critical facilities.

• Familiarity with BIM modeling tools and design software.

• Practical experience using Autodesk Revit – a must.

• Experience in multidisciplinary engineering environments.

• Knowledge of telecommunications standards and low-voltage system codes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively while adhering to project deadlines.

• Self-motivated individuals who are ambitious and excel in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to convey technical knowledge in a clear and comprehensible manner.
