ICT Design Engineer, Information and Communications Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Designing and overseeing ICT and low-voltage systems, which encompass structured cabling, telecommunications, access control, video surveillance (CCTV), and security systems.

• Utilizing BIM tools to model and integrate ICT systems with other engineering disciplines, specifically using Autodesk Revit – a requirement for this role.

• Gaining a comprehensive understanding of project requirements related to scope, budget, and timelines.

• Identifying and accelerating the engineering deliverables for various projects.

• Creating and updating project scope documentation throughout the design development process.

• Conducting engineering calculations, system layouts, and producing technical documentation for ICT infrastructure.

• Generating the technical documentation necessary for project execution, including design criteria, technical specifications, and equipment data sheets.

• Evaluating shop drawings and contractor submissions.

• Developing models and drawings through BIM and CAD modeling tools.

• Facilitating coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project development and execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, IT, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated expertise as an ICT / telecommunications / low-voltage systems engineer.

• Proficient in written and spoken English at a B1 level or higher.

• Experience in ICT design, including structured cabling systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and security systems.

• Background in designing low-voltage systems for industrial, commercial, or mission-critical environments.

• Proficient in using BIM modeling tools and design software.

• Practical experience with Autodesk Revit – a must.

• Experience in multidisciplinary engineering settings.

• Knowledge of telecommunications standards and low-voltage system regulations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet project deadlines.
