ICT Design Engineer – Information and Communications Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Designing and managing ICT and low-voltage systems, which encompass structured cabling, telecommunications, access control, video surveillance (CCTV), and security systems.

• Employing BIM tools to model and synchronize ICT systems with other engineering disciplines using platforms such as Autodesk Revit – this is essential.

• Cultivating a comprehensive understanding and execution of project requirements related to scope, cost, and timeline.

• Identifying and accelerating the engineering deliverables for various projects.

• Creating and updating project scope of work documentation and revisions throughout the design development phase.

• Generating engineering calculations, system layouts, and technical documentation for ICT infrastructure.

• Compiling necessary technical documentation for project execution, including design criteria, technical specifications, and equipment data sheets.

• Evaluating shop drawings and contractor submissions.

• Producing models and drawings utilizing BIM and CAD modeling tools.

• Facilitating coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams during the development and execution of projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, IT, or a comparable field.

• Demonstrated expertise as an ICT / telecommunications / low-voltage systems engineer.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English at a B1 level or higher.

• Experience in ICT design, including structured cabling systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and security systems.

• Background in designing low-voltage systems for industrial, commercial, or mission-critical facilities.

• Familiarity with BIM modeling tools and design software.

• Practical experience with Autodesk Revit – this is essential.

• Experience in multidisciplinary engineering environments.

• Knowledge of telecommunications standards and low-voltage system codes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively while adhering to project deadlines.
