IBM i System Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• The resource will report directly to the team leader of the client's running team.

• Management of tickets and requests.

• Oversight and control of AS400 and its respective automated jobs.

• Development of CLP and SQL programs on AS400.

• Creation of tickets and requests directed towards HQ (Germany).

⛳️ Requirements

• System knowledge: operating system, operational logic, and system parameters.

• Basic/intermediate system knowledge: MQ Series, DB2, and monitoring tools.

• CL Programming: basic knowledge required.

• SQL: basic knowledge required.

• Mimix: basic knowledge required.

• BRMS: basic knowledge required (familiarity with commands SAV/RST, Control Group, Media Class).

• English language: basic knowledge required.
