IAM Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership, implement, and continually enhance IAM tools such as Okta and ConductorOne throughout the organization.

• Promote the adoption of scalable access controls, including RBAC, ABAC, and JIT models.

• Collaborate with compliance and audit teams to ensure access adheres to frameworks like SOX, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.

• Work together on large, cross-functional initiatives spanning security, engineering, and IT.

• Guide junior engineers and advocate for IAM best practices within the organization.

• Assist in integrating access for mergers and acquisitions by onboarding acquired companies and their identity systems into our access ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing Terraform to manage IAM infrastructure on a large scale.

• At least 2 years of experience overseeing an Okta tenant with over 1,000 users, including implementing best practices for SSO, MFA, and policy control.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience writing scripts for routine operational tasks such as generating reports or manipulating data from APIs.

• Over 2 years of experience working with IGA platforms like SailPoint, ConductorOne, Lumos, etc.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities; intellectually curious and detail-oriented.

• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities, and quickly grasping new concepts.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, particularly when engaging with stakeholders from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
