HVAC Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• You will be responsible for the quality assurance and quality control of load control devices, as well as their subsequent service and removal when necessary.

• You will educate customers on program details and provide information upon their request.

• Additional responsibilities will involve conducting energy audits in residential homes and performing diagnostic testing to pinpoint efficiency opportunities and enhance overall home performance.

• This position entails carrying out building assessments, utilizing diagnostic tools (such as blower doors and combustion safety instruments), documenting observations, and recommending energy-efficient practices to clients.

• The technician will interact directly with homeowners, ensuring a positive customer experience while aligning with the program's objectives for safety, quality, and energy savings.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate degree in HVAC certification or NATE certification is required.

• 1-3 years of relevant industry experience or a mix of training, education, and work experience in a related field is mandatory.

• A valid driver's license is necessary.

• The job entails physical activities such as frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.

• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods is required.

• Repetitive hand motion will be necessary.

• Must be able to lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds.

• Proficiency in using power tools is essential.
