HVAC Interior IP Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Establish engineering requirements for components and systems.

• Design and develop engineering concepts and layouts.

• Conduct packaging, tolerance, and feasibility assessments.

• Generate CAD models, technical drawings, and engineering releases.

• Assist in CAE, prototype assembly, testing, sourcing, and validation efforts.

• Address design, manufacturing, quality, and launch challenges.

• Work collaboratively with internal cross-functional teams, suppliers, and clients.

• Oversee engineering changes and maintain documentation.

• Utilize vehicle development and problem-solving expertise from concept to production.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in automotive/commercial vehicle engineering, specifically in HVAC and Interior Instrument Panel.

• Proficiency in systems and Cross-Car Beam (CCB) architectures.

• At least 3 years of experience with CAD tools (CATIA 3Dx, 3D Experience, or V5).

• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis.

• Familiarity with DFMA and Serviceability principles.

• English proficiency at C1/Advanced level.
