HVAC Controls – Technical Services Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Offers technical support to pre-engineering teams during data gathering surveys.

• Conducts site assessments to evaluate current facility conditions and identify the necessary requirements for completing the work scope.

• Formulates energy conservation strategies to implement the project scope related to retro-commissioning.

• Works in collaboration with project engineering to ensure adherence to engineering best practices, company standards, and compliance with all relevant codes.

• Aids the project team in reviewing key equipment and system submissions for alignment with contract documents and project outcome expectations.

• Diagnoses issues related to equipment/system installation and setup.

• Provides technical assistance to the implementation team to fulfill project requirements and achieve project goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in engineering design, energy management, or retro-commissioning.

• Professional Mechanical Engineering (PE) license.

• Holds extensive technical knowledge in the relevant subject matter.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer/client satisfaction.

• Demonstrates leadership abilities with a talent for developing and mentoring others.

• Capable of problem-solving and analyzing intricate systems.

• Detail-oriented and eager to engage in multiple ongoing projects with competing deadlines.

• Able to multitask and perform responsibilities beyond the typical scope of work when required.
