HVAC Controls – Technical Services Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provides technical support to pre-engineering teams during data collection surveys.

• Conducts site surveys to assess existing facility conditions and determine the requirements necessary to fulfill the project scope.

• Formulates energy conservation strategies to implement the project scope related to retro-commissioning.

• Aids the project team in reviewing critical equipment and system submissions for compliance.

• Performs commissioning and occasional peer evaluations of design documents.

• Collaborates with the engineer of record to advise the project team on the technical and resource requirements essential for achieving project goals.

• Supports the optimization of intricate equipment/system enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in engineering design, energy management, or retro-commissioning.

• Professional Mechanical Engineering (PE) license.

• Holds expert technical knowledge in the relevant field.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on Customer/Client orientation.

• Demonstrates leadership capabilities with a talent for developing and mentoring others.

• Skilled in problem-solving and analyzing complex systems.

• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple ongoing projects with competing deadlines.

• Able to multitask and take on responsibilities beyond the standard scope of work as needed.
