HVAC Controls – Technical Service Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Provides technical support to pre-engineering teams during the data collection phase of surveys.

• Conducts site assessments to evaluate current facility conditions and identify requirements to fulfill the project scope.

• Formulates energy conservation strategies to execute the project scope related to retro-commissioning.

• Collaborates with the design team to integrate all energy conservation strategies, ensuring a comprehensive and cohesive approach to energy management across all systems.

• Reviews Requests For Proposals (RFPs) for the procurement of equipment and services to ensure alignment with project outcomes.

• Performs commissioning and occasional peer evaluations of design documents.

• Diagnoses installation and setup issues related to equipment and systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in engineering design, energy management, or retro-commissioning.

• A Professional Mechanical Engineering (PE) license is required.

• Demonstrates expert technical knowledge of the relevant subject matter.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities along with a focus on customer/client satisfaction.

• Exhibits leadership qualities with the capacity to develop and mentor team members.

• Possesses problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems.

• Detail-oriented, with a willingness to manage multiple ongoing projects that have competing deadlines.

• Capable of multitasking and performing responsibilities beyond the defined scope of work when necessary.
