HVAC Controls – Technical Service Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Offers technical support to pre-engineering teams throughout data collection surveys.

• Oversees site surveys to assess current facility conditions and identify requirements for completing the project scope.

• Formulates energy conservation plans to implement the project scope related to retro-commissioning.

• Collaborates with the design team to integrate all energy conservation initiatives, ensuring a holistic and coordinated approach to energy management.

• Evaluates Requests For Proposals (RFPs) for procurement of equipment and services to guarantee project outcomes are met.

• Performs commissioning and occasional peer reviews of design documents.

• Resolves issues related to equipment/system installation and setup.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in engineering design, energy management, or retro-commissioning.

• Professional Mechanical Engineering (PE) license.

• Holds extensive technical expertise in the relevant subject matter.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer/client satisfaction.

• Leadership abilities with a talent for developing and mentoring others.

• Skilled in problem-solving and analyzing complex systems.

• Detail-oriented and eager to manage multiple ongoing projects with competing deadlines.

• Capable of multitasking and undertaking responsibilities outside the primary scope of work as needed.
