HV Training and Technical Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist with daily Operations Control Center (OCC) and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities while developing high voltage (HV) training resources.

• Maintain a safe working environment by strictly adhering to and enforcing both company and industry safety regulations.

• Foster effective communication with clients, vendors, and colleagues.

• Collaborate with the Technical Support Supervisor and other SOLV employees to create HV Technical Training Materials.

• Provide support to the OCC with Power Systems Analysis and operational guidance as required.

• Deliver On-Call HV Support and daytime HV assistance to the OCC and Field Technicians.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or an equivalent qualification.

• Over 10 years of experience in Testing and Commissioning.

• Proven ability to train and develop others effectively.

• Ability to identify work hazards and implement mitigation strategies using appropriate tools and procedures.

• Proficient computer skills and capability to operate system testing applications.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Willingness to work in a rotational on-call schedule, which may include weekends or after-hours situations.

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and ability to operate a company vehicle.

• CPR/First Aid certification.
