This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Drive laboratory sales revenue by enhancing market penetration and promoting Ambry's range of genetic diagnostic testing services.
• Promote the clinical and financial advantages of our products to various stakeholders in hospitals, specialty clinics, and physician's offices, including MDs, nurses, genetic counselors, and laboratory personnel.
• Actively seek and identify new business opportunities within the designated territory.
• Concentrate solely on acquiring new business for genetic diagnostic testing services.
• Create and implement focused outreach strategies (including cold calling) to secure new hospital and clinical accounts.
• Oversee a comprehensive pipeline of prospective accounts from the initial contact through to closure.
• Clearly communicate clinical and financial value propositions to secure commitments from new customers.
• Develop and present impactful presentations tailored to the needs of prospective clients.
• Keep precise and timely sales pipeline data and activity logs updated in the CRM system.
• Regularly meet ambitious new business sales targets.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth account onboarding after acquisition.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in selling laboratory services to clinicians and hospitals or in medical device sales.
• Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications.
• Experienced in using CRM applications such as Salesforce or Microsoft CRM.
• Proven track record of sales success in selling a diverse range of laboratory testing to various medical specialties.
• Capability to sell technically intricate products.
• Expertise in demand generation across a large geographic area.
• Strong skills in networking and relationship building.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Some formal sales training experience, such as SPIN Selling or PSS.
• Strong skills in time and territory management.
• Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license, unless otherwise agreed upon.
