Humanitarian Operations Technical Advisor I – RAPID, LACRO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Deliver prompt deployment and in-country operational surge assistance during humanitarian crises, utilizing operational expertise to facilitate procurement, logistics, supply chain processes, and the establishment of emergency suboffices.

• Assist in emergency operations planning, execution, and conclusion through both remote and onsite technical support, ensuring alignment with CRS standards, donor expectations, and best practices in humanitarian work.

• Aid in the establishment and operation of relief delivery systems, tools, and operational procedures within active emergency settings.

• Offer operational support across HR, finance, security, GKIM, administration, and fleet management, in collaboration with relevant CRS technical and departmental leaders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduate degree in international development or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• At least 5 years of experience in supporting or managing humanitarian operations in the field.

• Proven field management experience with an International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO).

• Experience in integrating cross-cutting themes such as protection, gender, capacity strengthening, and governance.
