Humanitarian Operations Technical Advisor I, RAPID EMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jordan.

📋 Description

• Deliver deployable, technical, and operational assistance for CRS humanitarian emergency responses.

• Aid in the planning, execution, and closure of emergency operations.

• Facilitate the establishment and functionality of relief delivery systems, tools, and operational processes within active emergency situations.

• Offer operational support across human resources, finance, security, information and communication technology, administration, and fleet management.

• Provide on-the-job assistance and technical guidance to CRS staff and local partners during emergency response activities.

• Assist in the implementation of humanitarian operations standards, tools, and guidance for field operations and emergency supply chains.

• Support CRS's involvement in humanitarian coordination, cluster, and operations forums.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in international development or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• At least 5 years of experience in supporting or managing humanitarian operations in the field.

• Proven field management experience with an international non-governmental organization (INGO).

• Experience in integrating cross-cutting themes such as protection, gender, capacity strengthening, and governance.

• Proficient in English (both verbal and written), with Arabic preferred as a secondary language.
