This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Assist with initiatives related to career development, performance management, bonus analysis, compensation analysis, and education and administration of the ESOP.
β’ Manage and provide education to employees regarding the Employee Stock Ownership Plan in partnership with the HR team, communications, finance/payroll, and plan participants.
β’ Collaborate with the HR Director to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
β’ Oversee the internal administration of the company's ESOP.
β’ Deliver educational sessions for ESOP participants.
β’ Gather participant data effectively.
β’ Support with distributions.
β’ Promote an ownership culture through educational initiatives, communication, and engagement activities.
β’ A bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be taken into account.
β’ Proven experience in supporting HR functions including employee engagement, career development, talent management, compensation analysis, or retirement plan administration within a professional setting.
β’ Strong analytical and organizational capabilities with a keen attention to detail.
β’ Ability to handle confidential employee and participant information with discretion, accuracy, and sound judgment.
β’ Capacity to manage recurring deadlines, track detailed information, and independently follow through on multiple projects.
β’ Comfort with data, reports, spreadsheets, and employee records.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ESOP, benefits, compensation, and HR topics in an employee-friendly manner.
β’ Ability to collaborate effectively across HR, finance/payroll, communications, third-party administrators, advisors, and employees at all levels.
β’ Interest in employee ownership and a commitment to fostering an ownership culture.
β’ Knowledge of ERISA regulations and/or qualified retirement plans is a plus.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and MATLAB.
β’ Prior experience in an ESOP-owned company or third-party retirement plan administration is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with software systems, payroll systems, or HRIS platforms such as Rippling is desired.
β’ Experience with 401(k) plans, qualified retirement plans, or coordination with third-party vendors is advantageous.
