Employee Relations Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Design and execute programs and tools that promote confidential communication channels for employees.

• Assist in the development of employee relations policies and procedures across the organization.

• Address employee complaints and issues in a fair and timely manner.

• Conduct investigations into reported violations and suggest appropriate remediation actions.

• Maintain thorough case files, documentation, follow-up, and records pertaining to employee relations cases.

• Offer guidance, coaching, and counseling to HR and leadership on significant employee relations matters.

• Contribute to internal projects, training development, and initiatives aimed at continuous improvement within HR/ER.

• Identify and propose enhancements to processes, procedures, policies, and technologies.

• Assess case risk levels and determine routing in accordance with escalation protocols.

• Assist the Employee Relations Manager in overseeing, analyzing, and evaluating case management processes and systems.

• Create reporting mechanisms to capture employee relations metrics and trends.

• Analyze data and propose strategies to boost employee engagement and minimize turnover rates.

• Identify practices that improve processes and foster better interpersonal and team dynamics.

• Stay informed on state and federal employment laws and regulations.

• Build strong relationships with HR, legal, and other relevant teams while consulting on employee-related matters.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of progressive experience in HR or a related field.

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a relevant discipline.

• Professional HR certification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Proven expertise in employee and/or labor relations strategy.

• Comprehensive understanding of HR policies and procedures.

• Knowledge of federal and state regulations, including EEO laws and guidelines.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and exert influence effectively.

• Skill in sharing information while maintaining a balance between transparency and confidentiality.

• Ability to communicate feedback and difficult messages in an unbiased, direct, constructive, and sincere manner.

• Strong critical thinking skills to synthesize data, resolve complex issues, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.

• Capability to objectively assess alternative approaches and evaluate their impact on individuals and the organization.
