Engineer Manager, HR Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Expand and enhance the HR Engineering team by recruiting, onboarding, and training analysts and engineers who support Workday and various HR functional areas.

• Offer functional and technical guidance while mentoring team members.

• Oversee the daily operations of the Workday instance.

• Create user-friendly processes, guidelines, and documentation.

• Evaluate business requirements with both internal and external stakeholders, driving system planning, development, testing, and implementation.

• Spot automation opportunities throughout HR processes.

• Conduct regular reviews and facilitate HR system upgrades and patches.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in HR technology.

• Engage in or lead projects aimed at continuous improvement.

• Build cross-functional teams within a geographically diverse organization, including teams in the U.S. and India.

• Manage vendor RFPs and relationships to influence HRIS and related boundary-system purchasing decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience, including at least 3 years leading an applications team focused on an HR functional area.

• Proficient understanding of Workday and its integrations.

• Experience with integrating Applicant Tracking Systems, Learning Management Systems, and Performance Systems.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners to ensure alignment.

• Eagerness to learn and implement processes that are specific to Coinbase.

• Demonstrated experience in applying Lean, Agile, ITIL, or process improvement methodologies to previous workflows.

• Proven experience collaborating with Security teams to deliver solutions that meet high security standards.

• Capability to coordinate highly technical teams while delivering value to stakeholders.

• Skill in designing and refining processes that address challenges in straightforward and scalable ways.

• High proficiency in using Jira, Slack, and G Suite.

• Workday certification is preferred.

• Knowledge of and enthusiasm for cryptocurrency and blockchain is preferred.
