This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Oversee employee leave and disability accommodation programs in accordance with federal and state laws as well as company policies.
• Handle leave and disability accommodation cases, which includes eligibility assessments, documentation gathering, and case resolution.
• Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding leave, accommodations, and benefits coordination processes.
• Collaborate with employees, leaders, vendors, and legal counsel throughout the leave and accommodation process.
• Work with legal counsel on intricate leave and accommodation issues.
• Assist in the development of policies, training for managers, reporting, and initiatives aimed at process improvement.
• Perform system audits and testing to ensure compliance and functionality.
• Coordinate with vendors to guarantee effective management of programs.
• Ensure system accuracy within Workday to maintain data integrity.
• Provide a positive employee experience while upholding legal compliance and operational excellence.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in administering employee leave and disability accommodation programs.
• Familiarity with federal leave laws, including the FMLA and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
• Experience with enterprise-level HRIS systems.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data management, reporting, or analytical purposes.
• Capable of interpreting policies, analyzing information, and making informed decisions regarding eligibility and compliance.
• Experience with Workday, specifically in leave management administration.
• Proven experience working alongside legal counsel, vendors, or third-party leave administrators.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and verification of employment, education, and licensing.
