Human Resources Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage all facets of payroll operations across various states.

• Administer programs for health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement benefits.

• Act as the primary contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.

• Collaborate with finance and external partners to reconcile benefits statements and payments.

• Work alongside the VP of Human Resources on strategic HR initiatives.

• Analyze trends in compensation and benefits, providing recommendations for enhancements.

• Assist in workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development strategies.

• Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant with regulations.

• Manage the HRIS, maintaining accurate employee records and reporting.

• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires.

• Address employee relations, performance management, and conduct exit interviews.

• Lead, mentor, and foster the development of the HR operations team.

• Report HIPAA violations and complete necessary HIPAA training.

• Supervise and coach departmental staff.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR operations, specifically in payroll and benefits administration.

• Experience in a remote and multi-state environment is preferred.

• Proven capability to operate both strategically and tactically within HR.

• Comprehensive understanding of employment laws and regulations across multiple states.

• High emotional intelligence.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficiency in benefits management across Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, EAP, and ancillary items.

• Adherence to ethical practices.

• Capable of flexibility and multitasking.

• Strong initiative; self-directed and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Strong relationship management capabilities.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented environment.

• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Outstanding communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.

• Availability to work core hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT, with flexibility for meetings across time zones.

• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
